WHISKEY SOUR
Alcohol, sugar and lemons ? the original big three ingredients ? come together in the Whiskey Sour, which has a history dating back to the Lincoln administration. Few drinks in the cocktail lineup are as quick to make as the Whiskey Sour. We like our Whiskey Sour thickened with egg white and a few touches of aromatic bitters for a complementary note of spice.
Ingredients
For 1 cocktail : Show liquids in centiliters (cl)- 1.5 Oz Bourbon
- 1.5 Oz Lemon Juice
- 0.5 Oz Sugar syrup
Cocktail directions
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake.
- Strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish with 3 drops of Angostura.
Cocktail service
With a shaker.
Served in a Martini cocktail glass.
Bartender's tips
Serve with a lemon peel.
